MATCHED PAIR OF HELLENISTIC GOLD EARRINGS WITH LION HEADS

Ca. 300 - 100 BC. A matched pair of gold earrings, each with a twisted wire hoop terminating in a finely modelled lion's head with prominent eyes, rounded ears and an open mouth receiving the hooked terminal.
