MATCHED PAIR OF HELLENISTIC HIGH KARAT GOLD LION-HEAD EARRINGS

Ca. 300 - 100 BC. A matched pair of gold earrings, each with a tapering hoop wrapped in fine wire and finished with a lion-head finial at the thicker end. The hoop is suspended from a long ear hook.
