Alle Auktionen / Zeitgenössische Kunst / Máté Nagy (1986) - Icona dell'universo
Oil painting on canvas from a collection. Hand-signed by the contemporary Hungarian artist Máté Nagy and bearing the gallery stamp. Title: Icon of the Universe Dimensions: 60 x 50 cm Year: 2026 Máté Nagy was born in Budapest in 1986. An oil painter of Hungarian origin, he develops a refined language that blends Byzantine influences, Art Nouveau, and Oriental decoration. His works depict elegant, silent female figures, immersed in precious compositions made of gold, deep blues, tactile textures, and ornamental details. In his paintings, the portrait becomes a contemporary icon suspended between beauty, spirituality, and ancient memory. Today he lives and works between Budapest and Venice. NB: The artwork will be shipped in a sturdy tube suitable for shipping. The colors of the painting may differ slightly from the photos due to screen settings. In person, the artworks are more beautiful than in photography: one can appreciate the hypnotic beauty of the oil colors coming to life on the canvas.
