Mauviel - Casserole dish - Mauviel 1830 Casserole 16 cm - Copper

Mauviel’s cookware of top quality. Not only for professionals but also for hobby cooks. The Mauviel 1830 casserole has a diameter of 16 cm and a capacity of 1.5 l. The pan consists of three layers (copper, aluminum and stainless steel) for optimal heat distribution. The inside is lined with stainless steel; this layer is wear-resistant and capable of withstanding high temperatures, unlike the older tinned pans, and prevents the copper from negatively influencing the flavor of your preparations. The stainless steel handle is riveted to the pan. The saucepan is generally used for boiling large quantities of water and liquid dishes, but also for preparing meat, sauces and more. Over time the copper exterior will discolor, giving the pan a rustic appearance. If you want to restore the original color and luster, you can use Mauviel Copperbril copper polish to polish the copper. Mauviel 1830 is a French brand founded in 1830 by Ernest Mauviel in Villedieu-les-Poêles, Normandy, a town with a long tradition of copper work. The family business is renowned for its high-quality copper and stainless steel cookware and is synonymous with quality, durability and craftsmanship. Mauviel combines traditional craftsmanship with innovation and is loved by professional chefs worldwide. France is known for its superior pans. Mauviel, Le Creuset, and Staub are highly cherished around the world.
