Spine richly decorated with gold titles and geometric elements. Marbleized edges with three-sided gilt (three-sided gold cutting). • Exterior: Excellent overall condition for an antique work. The bindings are sturdy, the colors on the boards are vivid, and the gilding is very bright. Very small and normal signs of shelf wear on the corners, at the tails, and along the hinges. • Interior: Sheets firmly attached to the binding. Pages generally fresh and clean, with rare and light marginal foxing due to the paper of the period, which does not affect consultation or the beauty of the plates.
