MEDSAN - Iron Giant in the Wheat Field (麦畑の鉄の巨人) - UNIQUE WORK

THERE IS ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD - EDITION 1/1 On this vertical format, Medsan places the Iron Giant, the robot from the animated film The Iron Giant, standing at the edge of a ripe wheat field. He faces us, motionless, arms at his sides, his small helmeted head turned toward us; his slate-gray silhouette cuts against a pale cloud, the only dark vertical in the whole landscape. The wheat occupies the lower half of the frame, bright yellow with touches of ochre and brown, and a path of green and reddish earth opens in the foreground, then winds up toward the giant until it disappears into the ears of corn. The blue sky that fills the upper part is crossed by black ravens with wings spread, scattered around him and along the horizon. A small pink speck clings to the wheat on his right. In the bottom right corner, the caption メドサン. The giant seems to be waiting for someone who does not come. A calm, instantly recognizable piece, ideal for adding a pop and cinematic touch to the interior of a collector attached to grand figures of animation. Set up as a genuine artistic production space, the studio operates both in collaborative creation and in individual approaches, depending on projects and works. Atelier Joconde is also a family venture. Le Yack, a contemporary figurative painter, develops a narrative and introspective body of work with cinematic and realistic influences. Beside him, Medsan, oriented toward pop art painting, explores color, modern iconography, and visual culture. Finally, Neo Pablo pursues a more instinctive search, blending abstract art, brut art, and figurative abstraction. Each work is conceived, created, and followed within the studio, with a shared artistic standard and an identity unique to each artist.
