MEDSAN - Kintsugi Sonic in the Rain (雨の中の金継ぎソニック) - UNIQUE WORK

ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD EXISTS - EDITION 1/1 In this square format, Medsan shows Sonic, Sega's hedgehog, under a night rain. Sitting on the edge of a dark, gleaming stone, knees pressed together, he holds with both hands the curved handle of a green umbrella opened above his head. He looks at us with his large green eyes, with a small, calm smile. Spikes to gloves, his entire body is covered with a blue pattern on a white background: blue flowers on the arms and cheeks, swirling waves on the front of the shoes, red clouds on the top of the head and on the stripes of his sneakers, which stay red. A network of golden lines runs across the character, breaking him into fragments, like cracks mended. Around him, the night is a near-black blue and rain-slashed. At his feet, drops trace circles in the puddles. Only the tender green of the umbrella and the white of the character stand out from the shadow. For once, the speed hero agrees to wait. A soft and unexpected piece, ideal for adding a touch of Japanese pop culture to a contemporary collector’s or video game fan’s interior.
