MEDSAN - Lupin the Third at the Window (窓辺のルパン三世) - UNIQUE WORK

THERE IS ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD - EDITION 1/1 On this landscape format, Medsan installs Lupin III, the gentleman thief of the Lupin the Third saga, behind the large glass of a New York apartment, in the middle of the night. Settled in a red-brown club chair, legs crossed, he wears his green jacket, a black shirt and a yellow tie. He holds The New York Times wide open, a cigarette at the corner of his lips, and casts a wary glance aside, as if he had just heard a noise. A cream-colored shaded streetlamp bathes the living room in warm light. On the green wall, a bookshelf and a dark coat hang. On the bright red wall, a wooden door and a skyline painting loom over a black upright piano, topped by a small horse. On the round table wait an ashtray, a pack of cigarettes and a closed book. To the left, outside, the dark buildings with a few lit windows and a water tower silhouette against a night blue sky. A quiet vigil, just before the next heist. A nocturnal and cinematic scene, ideal for adding a touch of mystery to an interior of a collector who loves manga and anime.
