Alle Auktionen / Zeitgenössische Kunst / MEDSAN - Speed Racer Graffiti Mach 5 (グラフィティのマッハ号) - UNIQUE WORK
ONL Y ONE IN THE WORLD - EDITION 1/1 On this square format, Medsan sets the Mach 5, Speed Racer's white race car (Mach GoGoGo, Tatsunoko), alone in the light on a glossy black floor. We see it in a three-quarter front view, so close that the hood fills the frame: the big red M dips toward the nose, the windshield bubble reveals the red seats. On the side, the yellow number 5 stands out in its red circle. The entire body is covered with tags. On the hood, MACH 5 spreads in large chromed letters outlined in red, which bleed into trails; GO GO GO drips in red on the left wing, SPEED is written in black under a crown, and RACER X signs itself with a red X. Near the wheel, a sticker shows Speed Racer wearing a helmet, and スピードレーサー runs in black on the bumper. Checkered flags and black or yellow crowns slip in between the tags. White, red, and black dominate, under the sparkle of the rims. A single, energetic piece, ideal to bring a sense of speed and street art to a collector's interior passionate about cars and anime.
