MEDSAN - Thousand Sunny at Sunrise (日の出のサウザンド・サニー号) - UNIQUE WORK

ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD - EDITION 1/1 In this square format, Medsan brings in the Thousand Sunny, the pirate ship of the Straw Hat Pirates from One Piece, into a fog-drowned port at dawn. The ship moves toward us. Its prow, a yellow lion head with an orange mane, is turned three-quarters. On the large white sail unfolds the Luffy flag, a skull wearing a yellow straw hat with a red ribbon, and two small black flags flutter at the tops of the masts. The red hull speckled with yellow spots bears on its flank a medallion stamped with a 1, while a red and brown striped sail billows at the rear. Around it, the port fades away: the masts of great ships, the cranes and chimneys are nothing more than blue-green silhouettes in a pink and lilac sky. A bright orange sun rises on the right and traces on the calm water a trail of incandescent reflections. On the left, two dark boats glide with their passengers. The ship seems to set sail at the exact moment when day breaks. A soft and luminous piece, ideal for adding a touch of adventure to a collector’s manga and pop art interior.
