Clark Moore, Clement and Wohlberg, Meg (animated pictures) - The Night before Christmas - [New York], Crowne Publishing, 1944 16 pp., spiralbound (white) in pictorial paperboard wrappers. Damage to head/tail spine, name in pen on verso front cover, wear and tear but in all a good copy with all movable parts, including pop-up in good condition. The pop-up is a large Santa, named Saint Nicholas, which makes this book also of interest to collectors of Sinterklaas and Zwarte Piet. 26 x 22 cm. Santa visits Mother Mother Goose - White Plains, White Plains Greeting Card Corp., 1953 (20) pp., spiral bound in pictorial paperboard wrappers. The little presents, patsed in the book are missing, edges wrappers missing. But in all a good and charming Christmas gift. 26 x 21 cm. Janson, Leon, Lee Karmer, Lucille and Ruhman, Ruth (ills.) - Leon Jason's Jingle Dingle in" Christmas Time in Jingle Town" - [Cincinnati], Art Craft Publishers, Inc., 1953 (18) pp., inc. verso back cover, spiralbound (red) in pictorial paperboard wrappers. Edges rubbed, name in pen on title page, pasted pop-up on front cover missing (alas). Good copy with all moving parts intact, though the stocking is empty. Illustrations in colour. 28 x 21 cm. Fitch, Ahlene and Hoest, William P. (ills.) - Santa's litlle helpers - no place Polygraphic Company of America Inc., 1952 (20) p., incl. covers, spiralbound in pictorial paperboard. Box very damaged, Lollipop still there, causing spots on previous and 2 following pages. Two balloons also missing, which caused some damage to those pages. Else good copy, with fine pop-ups and nice illustrations in colour. Quite a Christmas-present, still. 26 x 22 cm. Vardon, Beth and Byi, Charlotte (ills.) - Stevie's Christmas Concert - no place, no publisher, [195?] 21 pp., spiralbound (red) in pictorial paperboard wrappers. Front cover loose from binding and damaged at edges. Back cover almost loose from cover, also damaged. 5 pages have pink pencil-stripes, 3 pages have a 3cm tear. But twop op-ups intact and little plastic pink flute still pasted on a page. More than acceptable copy for the pop-ups and and the lovely illustrations, all in colour, of birds, cats and dogs.
