Refined Milk Pot / Cremer in Solid Silver (800-900‰) & Ebony Handle (240 g - 13 cm) – Rocaille / Louis XV Style – France, circa 1900 Superb milk pot (or creamer) in solid silver decorated in the Rocaille / Louis XV style. Features: Origin: France, late 19th century / early 20th century. Material: Solid silver (guaranteed purity 800-900‰) and an ebony blackened insulating handle. Total weight: 240 grams (including the handle). Height: 13 cm Hallmark: Guarantee mark attesting to silver purity (800-900‰) stamped at the collar near the top of the handle. Decoration: Worked with twisted ribbing, adorned with large rocaille shells molded in relief and gadroons on the friezes of the foot and the collar. Condition: Very good overall condition. Very nice shine with its original patina. The wooden handle is perfectly solid and well fitted. Slight signs of use normal for an antique piece.
