MiLo - Red Dawn - XXL

Red Dawn MiLo (1976), Netherlands. Red Dawn is an abstract acrylic painting on canvas. About the artist MiLo (1976) is an Amsterdam-based artist with a background in photography and art studies. His practice spans from early Pollock-inspired action paintings to precise geometric compositions, and to the layered, scratched surfaces he often explores today. In his current work, MiLo investigates the tension between construction and erosion, layering and scratching the painted surface until traces emerge. Each work forms part of an ongoing exploration of abstraction, memory, and transformation, making MiLo one of the most prolific and recognizable contemporary artists on Catawiki.
