Full garnet morocco leather, spine and boards adorned with cold-pressed and gold fleur-de-lys decorations, burgundy moiré endpapers and guards, gilt top, bound-in case (publisher's binding). Work illustrated with miniatures and illuminations by André Dussarthou. One of the 150 numbered copies containing an original color illustration, a double color plate framed, and a sequence of sepia line drawings of the hors-texte illustrations, this one no. 70, fully complete with its certificate of authenticity, enriched by the artist's pencil tribute on the title page of volume 1. Very beautiful copy.
