Beautiful complete collection with its 10 volumes in an individual slipcase, titled "The Great Republican Orators". Published in 1949 by Hemera Editions. This is a special numbered limited edition, non-retail and named, limited to 3000 copies. Copies on Swedish paper, no. 367. The books are in a cardboard sleeve and in their protective individual cases. The books are new; most pages are still uncut, and everything is in very good to excellent condition given the collection’s age, only the slipcases show some normal wear. Prefaced and annotated by Jacques Herissay. - Volume II. SAINT-JUST. Prefaced and annotated by Henri Calvet. - Volume III. VERGNIAUD. Prefaced and annotated by Michel Lheritier. - Volume IV. DANTON. Prefaced and annotated by Jacques Herissay. - Volume V. ROBESPIERRE. Prefaced and annotated by Henri Calvet. - Volume VI. The GIRONDINS. Prefaced and annotated by Michel Lheritier. - Volume VII. LAMARTINE. Prefaced and annotated by André D. Toledano. - Volume VIII. GAMBETTA. Prefaced and annotated by Georges Bourgin. - Volume IX. JAURES. Prefaced and annotated by Georges Bourgin. - Volume X. Victor HUGO. Prefaced and annotated by André D. Toledano. Dimensions: 24.5 cm x 17 cm, about 260 pages per book, weight (excluding packaging) 8.5 kg. A pickup-point delivery close to home will be prioritized (UPS, Mondial Relay...) or direct-to-home delivery if no nearby pickup point is available.
