Modiano Tomei (1936-2002) - Ouro Preto

Large painting by the painter Modiano Tomei (1936/2002), Italian painter born in Milan who emigrated to Brazil in the 1950s. His work was exhibited at the São Paulo Museum of Modern Art. Oil on canvas, original, large panoramic format, exceptional. On the back of the canvas is a handwritten inscription by the artist (Ouro Preto) and the workshop catalog number ref 659/71. The painting depicts the famous colonial town of Ouro Preto, in the historic region of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Fine condition, canvas sound and the painting intact. A light surface cleaning to remove the patina of time is advisable. Work sold non-restored, guaranteeing its perfect authenticity.
