MOLDAVITE SILVER PENDANT -METEORITE impact- (Czech Republic) 14.5 million years

Pendant crafted with authentic sterling silver (925 thousandths) prong-set with natural Moldavite from the Czech Republic. The quality of the piece is first-rate. The lot includes a jewelry box from our CRATER brand and a stainless steel chain. Beautiful design and excellent quality. Moldavites are minerals formed from the fusion of material due to the impact of a large meteorite on Earth’s surface. Moldavites are associated with the impact crater located at Nördlingen Ries (Germany), from which they were ejected to the surroundings of the Vltava River in the Czech Republic (hence the name) and have an age of formation of 14.5 million years. Moldavites are increasingly scarce; each Moldavite piece is different, so each one is unique and unrepeatable. A secure value that appreciates every day. A fantastic and exclusive jewel. Moldavites belong to the tektite family (from the Greek tektos, melted) and are natural glass objects formed by the impact of large meteorites on Earth's surface. Tektites are the driest-known minerals, with an average water content of 0.005%, which suggests that tektites formed under very high temperature and pressure (similar to the conditions needed to form diamond). With certificate of authenticity IMCA (International Meteorite Collectors Association) Best regards and our warmest wishes. CRATER METEORITES
