Edition with a strictly limited print run: it was issued in one hundred copies printed on fine Holland paper. This is the copy No. 48. Covers and spine preserved. A bibliophile’s copy well complete with its allegorical copperplate frontispiece ("Lutetiae Parisiorum"), here exceptionally presented in 3 states: a first state print in black, a first state print in sanguine, and the final state with the letter. The work is also enriched with pretty borders, tailpieces, and initials. Condition: Very nice copy, rare in this condition. Spine slightly sunfaded. Interior fresh. See photos for more details.
