Fascinating and important vintage furnishing fabric from MOLTENI, Italian production dating back to the 1980s, coming from an old piece stored for decades. A fabric that perfectly tells the quality of furniture productions of those years: extremely substantial, heavy and dense, with a weight of over 1,100 grams per running meter, a characteristic not common in contemporary fabrics and a testament to the particularly rich construction of the material. The piece presents in the prestigious double width of 280 cm, for a truly substantial total area: Dimensions: 460 x 280 cm Weight: over 1,100 g per running meter Particularly interesting is the chromatic effect of the two sides. The right side of the fabric is the aqua green / sage green, an elegant, soft and sophisticated shade, with slight light variations that highlight its weave and material richness. The reverse side, on the other hand, shows a powder blue shade, creating a pleasant contrast visible even in the photographs. This particular construction makes it easy to clearly appreciate the fabric’s substantial structure and the quality of the workmanship. The remarkable weight and the large size make it especially suitable for upholstery, large decorative draperies, covering armchairs and sofas, cushions, headboards, textile panels, and vintage or contemporary interior design projects. IMPORTANT – vintage condition As it is an authentic vintage piece from the 1980s that has been folded and stored for many years, there are traces of dirt and signs of deposit, especially where the old folds are, clearly documented in the photographs, particularly the last one.
