Montblanc - 342 - No reserve price - Fountain pen

The Montblanc No. 342 is a classic piston-filling fountain pen from the 1950s, distinguished by its rounded black body, screw cap and characteristic post-war Montblanc proportions. The pen features an ink-view window and an integrated piston-filling mechanism operated from the rear of the barrel, giving it the self-contained construction typical of Montblanc fountain pens from this period. Its compact size, balanced profile and restrained detailing create a distinctly elegant mid-century appearance. With its traditional filling system and unmistakable 1950s styling, the No. 342 is an appealing vintage Montblanc both for regular writing and for collection. The pen has a steel nib in STEF (stenographic extra-fine). It is in good, pre-owned condition and has been carefully cleaned. Imperfections: signs of regular use, light scratches and marks, plating issues on the clip.
