We present at auction a refined masterpiece of elegance and prestige: the Montblanc Meisterstück “Hommage à W.A. Mozart” fountain pen, offered in the fascinating and sought-after burgundy hue, ideal for true connoisseurs of classy writing. The slender body and the cap of this iconic instrument are crafted in premium glossy burgundy resin, enhanced by the classic and sophisticated contrast with shiny gold-plated finishes, including the clip and the three decorative rings. On the central ring is finely engraved the identification inscription of the collection, while the top of the cap is crowned by the unmistakable emblem of the white star. The images showing the pen open confirm the integrity of the magnificent 14K / 585 gold nib and the filling system. The conservation status of this exemplar is classified as in excellent general condition, maintaining full functionality and a magnificent overall aesthetic. In strict compliance with our policy of total transparency and as clearly evidenced in the foreground photographic documentation, only localized wear on the small golden ring of the grip section is noted, while the rest of the pen is beautifully preserved. To further enhance this extraordinary lot and make it perfect as a prestigious gift idea or to enrich a collection, the instrument is offered in the sought-after Full Set configuration: it is indeed accompanied by its elegant original rigid box, the Montblanc user guide booklet, and Mozart-themed documentation.
