Montblanc - Meisterstück Solitaire Sterling Silver 925 - Pen

We present at auction a classic of high artisanal craftsmanship: the Montblanc Meisterstück Solitaire ballpoint pen, a prestigious model made in precious solid silver. The body and the cap of this elegant writing instrument are entirely forged in sterling silver, as certified by the conspicuous Ag 925 assurance stamps and the manufacturer marks engraved on the cap. The metal surface is embellished with a timeless guilloché pattern of vertical lines, which gives the object a refined texture and a pleasant tactile sensation. The silvery aesthetic creates a classic contrast with the gold-finished details, including the famous pocket clip and the three decorative rings, of which the central one bears the inscription Montblanc Meisterstück. At the top of the pen sits the unmistakable emblem of the white star. The images showing the pen disassembled confirm the integrity of the rotating mechanism and the presence of an internal refill. The conservation state of this exemplar can be assessed as good overall, maintaining its historical charm and full mechanical functionality. However, in strict adherence to our policy of total transparency, clear and evident signs of time derived from prior constant use are reported. As extensively documented in the close-up photographs, the silver surface shows widespread micro-scratches and a visible dent on the cap located laterally to the clip. Furthermore, the gold details, especially the central rings and the clip, show evident browning, signs of oxidation and a partial loss of the gold plating due to natural wear over the years.
