The platinum-plated metal cap, characteristic of the Doué version, is in very good condition, preserving its original satin finish with minimal superficial marks derived from normal use. The clip shows good tension and correct alignment. The metal finishes (rings and terminals) remain in generally good condition, with slight signs of handling but without significant material loss or relevant deterioration. The Montblanc floating emblem at the top remains clean and well defined, without cracks or damage, maintaining its characteristic visual effect. The 14-karat gold nib is in very good condition, with no visible deformities, proper alignment and ready to offer smooth writing.
