Moult (Thomas-Joseph)

Moult (Thomas-Joseph). Perpetual prophecies, very ancient and very certain. New edition, revised, recalculated and augmented with lucky numbers for the lottery, excerpts from Nostradamus. Paris, Montaudon, quai des Grands-Augustins, no. 19, s.d. [circa 1815]. Small 8vo, 71 pages, soft cover under an old marbled paper cover in polychrome. Wood-engraved portraits of Thomas-Joseph Moult and Michel Nostradamus, vignette and typographic ornaments. Curious popular edition of this famous collection of astrological and agricultural prophecies, based on the 28-year solar cycles, foretelling harvests, vintages, plenty and famine, with particular predictions up to 2063. The work claims Nostradamus’s endorsement and also offers favorable lottery numbers. Copy with all margins, untrimmed, preserved under its old pamphlet.
