Muller Frères - Table lamp - Gilt bronze

Beautiful French antique table lamp from Müller Frères Lunéville, featuring a signed glass goblet shade, in undamaged condition. The goblet-shaped shade is rendered in characteristic marbled glass with a warm orange color that fades into deep blue tones at the lower part. The remarkable color transition is especially beautiful when the lamp is lit. The goblet is in undamaged condition. The glass shade bears the etched/cameo signature, Muller Frères Lunéville, which attributes the glass to the famous French glass atelier Müller Frères. The Lunéville workshop was active from the late 19th century and gained great fame for its Art Nouveau glass and later Art Deco designs. The glass goblet is carried by an elegant fixture with a curved frame. The table lamp is equipped with new antique-look braided upholstered power cord, still with the original on/off switch. The lamp is carefully packaged and insured for shipping.
