Multicolored Welo opal of Ethiopian origin

Multicolored Welo opal of Ethiopian origin

5mm Pearls Bracelet weighing 4.5 grams Wrist circumference 16.5 cm Important: Photos were taken from different angles and lighting conditions to reveal the many facets of this stone. Indeed, opal has the characteristic of rapidly changing appearance depending on the intensity and nature of the light that shines on it. Depending on brightness, you may see multicolored fire or simply a translucent base. The first Ethiopian opals were discovered in the 1990s, notably in the Wollo province. These stones are distinguished by their color diversity and translucency. The black opal, with its dark base highlighting vivid color flashes, is particularly rare and sought after. It presents a light base, often white, which enhances the play of colors on its surface. Today, Ethiopian opal is highly appreciated for its beauty and rarity, contributing to Ethiopia's growing reputation as a major source of high-quality opals. 1. The photos were taken from different angles and lighting conditions to show you the different aspects. 6.
