Alle Auktionen / Sonstige / Murano glass, 24 kt gold suspended, murrine - Necklace - Princess
Fully handmade in Murano, this necklace fuses two great Venetian glass traditions, submerged gold and murrine, in a refined play of blue and gold. In the center, a lamp-worked glass sphere is wrapped by a submerged gold leaf, whose crackled pattern reveals the deep black of the glass underneath. On the surface are set precious murrine: small red hearts on a cobalt blue background, white and blue flowers on an orange-yellow background, stars and colorful petals. A transparent glass layer, with soft raised folds, encloses it all and enhances its light. Two filigree gold cups in the shape of a flower frame it like an antique jewel. On the sides, two rectangular cobalt blue glass pearls with submerged gold leaf repeat the colors of the sphere: blue appears in irregular patches on the gold, with an intense and precious effect. Faceted blue sapphire and small yellow-gold spacers complete its elegance. The strand of clear seed beads with a gold core unites everything like a thin trail of light. The lobster clasp with a prolongation chain allows for adjustable length. An elegant piece of jewelry rich in meaning, perfect to wear on special occasions or to give to a loved one. Each necklace is unique: the arrangement of the murrine, the gold texture, and the shades of blue vary from piece to piece. Small bubbles and irregularities are the mark of artisanal craftsmanship, not defects. Details Technique: lamp-worked glass, with submerged gold leaf and murrine. Length: about 48 cm, adjustable with the prolongation chain (princess length, falls on the collarbones). Central sphere: diameter about 3 cm. Side pearls: about 2 × 1.8 × 0.8 cm. Finishes: transparent seed beads with gold core, faceted blue sapphire and champagne crystals, filigree cups, and gold-colored metal clasp. The necklace comes in an elegant rigid jewelry box with a black velvet interior, ready to give as a gift. It is accompanied by an originality certificate attesting to the artisanal glasswork from Murano. Fast shipping, with careful and secure packaging.
