Alle Auktionen / Sonstige / Murano glass - Necklace - Opera, Night in Color
Entirely handmade in Murano, this necklace piece blends the elegance of black with a sequence of colored pearls in a modern, luminous contrast. The main pearls, lamp-worked one by one, are transparent colored glass, with an ivory glass ring around the holes that frames their color. Each pearl has its own shade: orange, turquoise, pink, emerald green, sky blue, plum, and acid green. When held to the light, the glass glows and reveals thin veining and nuances, different in every piece. The colored pearls are distributed along a line of glossy black seed beads, flanked by larger black pearls that accompany their passage. The black background makes each color stand out, like notes on a score. The lobster clasp, with an extension chain, allows for length adjustment. The true-length design brings the necklace to mid-bust: perfect over a turtleneck or a solid-color dress, where the colors pop with force. It can also be worn doubled, with two turns, for a shorter, gathered effect: one jewel for two different styles. Each pearl is unique: color nuances and glass veining vary from piece to piece. Any small imperfections are the natural mark of hand craftsmanship. Details Technique: lamp-worked glass pearls. Length: about 77 cm, adjustable with the extension chain (true-length, falls to mid-bust; can also be worn doubled). Colored pearls: diameter about 1.5 cm, Murano glass. Thread: black glass seed beads and pearls. Closure: silver-tone metal lobster clasp, with extension chain. The necklace arrives in an elegant rigid jewelry box with a black velvet interior, ready for gifting. It is accompanied by a certificate of originality, attesting to the handmade Murano glass craftsmanship. Fast shipping, with careful and secure packaging.
