Entirely handmade in Murano, this pendant encloses Murano floral art in miniature: flowers, roses and tendrils shaped one by one at the flame, following the tradition of Venetian floral glass beads. A small glass garden. The bead has a caramel amber colored glass base, traversed by delicate marbled veins that reveal themselves when viewed against the light. On the surface slender tendrils in acid green weave through the piece, curling in loops and swirls like the stems of a climbing plant. Among the leaves bloom glass roses in ruby red, with petals drawn by a white and pink spiral, and small flowers with cobalt blue petals variegated with white, gathered around a yellow heart. The entire decoration is in relief and creates a play of volumes and colors that changes with every glance. The pendant is mounted on a hammered gold-tone bail and falls from a fine foxtail-link chain. The spring ring clasp, with a long extension chain, allows for adjustable length.
