Nancy Tuttle May (NC), Untitled Diptych (two works)

Watercolor on paper, each pencil signed, float mounted and presented in matching hardwood frames with white gold to inner beveled edge. Sheet 30 x 22 in.; Frame dimensions 42 x 33 in. (each) Nancy Tuttle May has been a fixture in the arts community of Durham, North Carolina for many years. She studied at Wake Forest University, and later at the Università per Strainieri di Perugia, Italy, and Université Canadienne en France in Villefranche-sur-Mer, France, before returning to the United States to live and practice. Tuttle May's works - abstract and color field in style - are present in many collections, including the Duke University Medical Center, Durham; Weatherspoon Art Museum, Greensboro; SAS Institute, Cary; Nations Bank, United States, and Australia; and The Breakers, Palm Beach. Good estate condition; not examined out of the frame.
