Natural lapis lazuli – royal blue raw piece with golden...

This exceptionally intense lapis lazuli rough piece captivates with its deep, rich royal blue – a color quality that for millennia has been the epitome of luxury and rarity. The surface shows an impressive color density with hardly any lightening, making the blue especially powerful and pure. Fine pyrite particles are interwoven through the rock like golden star points in the night sky. These natural inclusions give the piece a vibrant, almost cosmic radiance and underline its high quality. Isolated light calcite zones at the matrix edge provide a natural contrast and emphasize the original character of the rough stone. The compact, solid form brings the extraordinary color intensity into particular relief. Each view reveals new golden accents and fine structures in the dense ultramarine blue. A rare, especially color-rich collector's piece in gemstone quality – powerful, expressive and of timeless elegance.
