He initially played for the Miami Heat and during his first professional season was also assigned to the G League affiliate Sioux Falls Skyforce. Since 2025 he has been under contract with the Detroit Pistons. With the Miami Heat, Robinson reached the NBA Finals twice (2020 and 2023) and played an important role in the team's high-powered offensive system. He is especially known for his quick release, his high three-point percentage, and his ability to stretch the floor with his shooting.
