Alle Auktionen / Zeitgenössische Kunst / Nelson F. León - "La puerta del desierto" XL
"The Door of the Desert" The painting presents a monumental red rock formation that transforms, almost impossibly, into architecture. Stairs and geometric volumes ascend toward a large arch opening in the stone, as if leading to a hidden place. The blue sky and the white circle create a strong contrast with the reds, while a small blue sphere at the foot of the stairs introduces an enigmatic element. The work seems to lie between landscape, dream, and imagined construction.
