NEPAL Dhodro banam (sarangi), made of carved wood with a rectangular soundbox covered in leather; the neck is engraved with herringbone patterns and the top with a palm frond. H. 55 cm. Export wax seal. Base. Included is a shield-shaped wooden sarangi (with a few fastening nails).
