NEPAL Small Tamang shaman’s drum (dhyangro), possibly for a child; the round body is covered with a stretched skin on each side, the wooden handle, with a dark patina, shaped like a phurbu and carved at the top with anthropomorphic faces, knots imitating laced ribbons, and a triple blade adorned with intertwined nagas, at the top of which a frog coils around them, grasping them by the neck. Ribbon around the handle. H. 52 cm
