NEPAL Set of three carved wooden phurbu: - One carved with faces at the top, a handle featuring interlaced patterns, and a blade shaped like a reptile. It has a mounting ring and a small chain at the top, and the tip is covered with metal. H. 29 cm. Mounted on a base. - one topped with crowned faces, the handle featuring a tiered arrangement of balls with interlaced or latticework motifs, the blade openwork with a coiled design and engraved with intertwined nagas surmounted by a bird, and covered with metal. H. 26 cm. On a pedestal. - The last one is topped with three faces crowned by an elephant; the handle resembles a double lotus; the blade is carved with intertwined nagas, and the tip is covered with metal.
