Netherlands - Jean Dulieu Leporello Card Set of Paulus de...

This vintage object is a leporello (accordion-fold) card set featuring Paulus de Boskabouter (Paulus the Woodgnome), a famous Dutch comic character created by Jean Dulieu (pseudonym of Jan van Oort). This specific set is titled "Zeven gekleurde platen uit het dagelijks vervolg-verhaal van kabouter Paulus in Het Vrije Volk" and was published in 1947 by the Dutch newspaper Het Vrije Volk. It originally consists of seven interconnected, colorful illustrated cards that fold out in a continuous accordion style. One card is missing from the set offered here; the condition is good, with some pinholes in the corners.
