Complete collection; 4 volumes are by Georges Montorgueil: Le vin à travers l’histoire (illustrated by Marcel Jeanjean); Le vin de Bordeaux (illustrated by Armand Vallée); and Anjou - Touraine, Alsace, Champagne and other great wines of France (illustrated by Carlège); the fifth volume, L’art de boire, is by Louis Forest, creator and president of the Club des Cent (illustrated by Charles Martin). An exemplar with the accompanying letters from the Nicolas house for volumes 1, 2, 4 and 5. There is a water stain at the foot of the first volume. Interior very fresh for the centenary of the volumes.
