Lubbers was proclaimed Artist of the Year 2024 at the Belgrade Biennale, received the Institutional Award of the Municipality of Montecosaro, and placed second at the World Art Awards as Most Innovative Artist 2024. In addition, she was listed among the 100 best female artists in the world and recognized as Master in Art. Internationally her work has been exhibited and is planned for exhibitions in, among others, New York, Venice, Florence, Belgrade, Belgium, China, and Montecosaro, alongside exhibitions in Dutch galleries. A particularly bright highlight is Beyond the Surface, a solo exhibition on Times Square in New York. Additionally, Nicole presents together with artist Michael Lam the exhibition Harmony in Motion: Two Artists, One Vision. Two different artistic worlds come together and form a joint dialogue around movement, color, creativity, and transformation. The work of Nicole Lubbers is more than just a visual image.
