From). The pendant features an elegant, organic form inspired by the Calla Lily (arum lily). The silver has been three-dimensionally formed into gracefully curved and folded surfaces, allowing the pendant to reveal a different set of lines from every angle. A pronounced example of the organic Scandinavian design for which Danish silversmiths of the mid-20th century are known. The pendant is clearly stamped with: FROM 925S This indicates the pendant is made in 925/1000 sterling silver and stamped by N.E. From. Also notable is the construction of the suspension. The pendant features a hinged safety clasp / secure pendant bail at the top. This forms a functional part of the design and makes it possible to attach the pendant safely to a suitable chain. The accompanying silver chain is separately stamped with 835, for 835/1000 silver, and also with a rectangular maker/brand mark containing two letters.
