The current print is from a later edition, using the original woodblocks. The measurements of the image itself (excluding the margins) are 36.0 x 16.5 cm. Carver: Harada Printer: Seki Tsuchiya Koitsu (1870-1949) was a famous Japanese artist. A member of the Shin-hanga movement, he specialized in landscape images. The print is in very good condition. There is a brownish pattern on the back, possibly from some mistakenly applied paint, but it is not visible from the front, except for at the very edge of the top margin. Will be shipped with great care in sturdy packaging to prevent folding.
