Curated collection of antique, vintage and modern rugs No Reserve Antique Haji Jalili Tabriz Rug circa 1900 Size: 5 ft 7 in x 4 ft 3 in (1.7 m x 1.29 m) Provenance: Property of a Nashville collector A finely woven Haji Jalili Tabriz featuring an architectural garden composition in warm terracotta, deep blue, ivory and soft brown. The central flowering tree is framed by layered borders and carefully drawn floral ornament, creating a sense of depth unusual in a rug of this size. Small Haji Jalili rugs with distinctive pictorial or architectural designs are highly collectible, and the no-reserve format should make this lot especially exciting to bidders. Condition Request Condition Report Lot #503 is in fair to good condition. The pile is full and even, with at least three areas of visible old repairs. Both ends are original, complete and need securing with a two minor tears at one end. The sides are securely finished. There is no dryness in the foundation. This piece is clean and floor-ready.
