Curated collection of antique, vintage and modern rugs No reserve- Large Antique Persian Kerman Rug - Circa 1900 Size: 15 ft 10 in x 9 ft 1 in (4.82 m x 2.76 m) Provenance: Property of Upstate New York residence A large antique Kerman carpet with an elegantly faded palette and a delicate, nearly allover floral composition. Time has softened its colors into subtle rose, ivory, and earthy tones, giving the surface an atmospheric, almost fresco-like appearance. Its nearly 16-foot length, graceful drawing, and extremely modest starting price make it an appealing decorative opportunity. Condition Request Condition Report Lot #552 is in fair condition. The pile is generally low with distressed and shabby chic look. The two ends are original and hand-secured. The sides are secured. There is no dryness in the foundation. This rug is clean and floor ready. Please contact our rug experts at auction@nazmiyal.com or call us for any questions you may have at 212.545.8029. Please note that all lots are sold "AS IS.
