This Ruka brooch from Lapponia, designed by Björn Weckström, has an elongated, gently curved shape that tapers into a sculpturally folded motif. The characteristic matte and textured finish is beautifully preserved and continues on the back. The brooch measures 6.6 cm in length and up to 2.8 cm in width. The brooch pin has a sliding safety clasp that functions well. On the back are two times the silver hallmark 925, the Finnish control mark with the crown in a heart, the Lapponia hallmark, the year letter R8 for 1994, and the name LAPPONIA in full. The brooch is in excellent, nearly new condition. There are no notable signs of wear visible. - The photos are an integral part of the description.
