NO RESERVE PRICE - Manifattura tedesca - Ewer - Claret Jug - Silverplated

We auction a refined and elegant Claret Jug (wine decanter) antique, made in Germany in the second half of the 20th century. This splendid table piece stands out for the harmonious fusion of crystalline craftsmanship and the shine of the metal mount. The bulging body is entirely crafted in fine hand-cut crystal with a classic diamond and lozenge pattern, capable of catching the light and creating splendid plays of reflections when the decanter is filled. The top is completed by an elegant mount with a pouring spout, a hinged lid with an opening lever, and a large, fluid ergonomic handle, all finely worked with a plated finish. The centerpiece of this decanter is its functionality: inside it houses a removable cylindrical glass tube, designed to contain ice. This ingenious solution keeps wine or any other beverage perfectly cool during service, without risking watering it down. It is a charming piece of furniture and service equipment, ideal for enriching a formal table or expanding a collection of antique crystal and silverware. Photos are an integral part of the description. The item will be packed with the utmost care and professionalism to ensure safe delivery. Shipping will be tracked and insured. We ship worldwide.
