An oval blue centre framed by a scalloped diamond surround, with an open gallery and slender shoulders. Era: Circa 1950. Material: Platinum. Diamonds: Sixteen eight-cut natural diamonds with a total estimated weight of approx. 0.45 ct (colour: J–P; clarity: I). Diamond weights, colour and clarity are approximate, as the stones were assessed in their settings and were not removed for grading or weighing. All diamonds in this ring were individually tested with the Magilabs' EXA Natural Diamond Detector and identified as natural diamonds. Gemstone: One oval faceted blue synthetic sapphire with an estimated weight of approx. 3.50 ct. The gemstone weight is approximate, as the stone was assessed in its setting and was not removed for weighing.
