The magnificent gentleman's ring is made of 835 silver and is also hallmarked as such; it is additionally gold-plated with 14 karat yellow gold. The ring head is set with a high-rectangular natural carnelian slab in a finely polished surface and in bright, well-preserved condition, held by a smooth bezel. The ring shoulders are hand-engraved with fine graver work. The ring shank is wide and finished with a polished surface. Ring size RG 57/58 = approx. 18.2 mm inner diameter of the ring shank. Ring head approx. 18.8 mm x 15 mm. Carnelian approx. 11.4 mm x 14 mm = about 6 ct. Art Deco goldsmith craftsmanship in very good condition, from unworn goldsmith stock.
