A beautiful 1 kg collection of natural Hematoid Quartz crystals from Brazil, consisting of approximately 20 individual crystal pieces with warm golden, amber, orange, reddish and smoky tones. These crystals immediately stand out from ordinary clear Quartz because of their remarkable coloration. The warm red, rust and golden shades are produced by iron-rich mineral inclusions and coatings, particularly iron oxides such as Hematite, occurring within or around the Quartz during its natural formation. The result is an impressive collection in which no two crystals look exactly alike. Some pieces display lighter honey-golden transparency, while others develop stronger orange, reddish-brown or deep rust-colored areas. Internal inclusions, veils, fractures and variations in clarity create additional depth when the crystals are viewed against the light.
