One 12-inch vinyl LP, 33 1/3 RPM, STEREO, housed in the original heavy cardboard gatefold sleeve. Recorded and pressed by the RCA Custom Record Division, 1969. This is the original cast recording of the Northwestern University Waa-Mu Show of 1969, titled "Present Tense," featuring the Original All-Student Cast and Orchestra, conducted by John P. Paynter. The internal gatefold and record label list extensive credits for the cast, staff, orchestra, and production team, including Dialogue, Music and Lyrics, and Choreography. The striking cover design, featuring a clenched fist rendered in a red, black, and white Ben-Day dot pattern, is a direct visual reference to the Pop Art style popularized by artists such as Roy Lichtenstein. The album is a notable piece of university ephemera and a significant example of 1960s graphic art influenced by modern art movements.
