The bezel insert is steel, not aluminum: it resists scratches, does not fade, and ages with the case rather than before the case. The double brushed and polished finish makes it legible in any lighting condition. From the exhibition caseback you can observe the Japanese automatic movement at work, with the Norton-custom rotor winding with every wrist gesture.
